Okay my lovelies.. How did you survive your Thanksgiving? Yesterday was Saturday and the holiday dinner in our household. I started baking pies two days earlier. Day of, I made dinner rolls from scratch, you can buy them if you prefer. Whil waiting for those to rise, I made a veggie tray and salad. This rolls only bake for about 15mins, so turkey prep time for me. Salt n pepper inside with lemon halves, onions and garlic. Oh, do not forget the bay leaves. I also take the time to stuff bitter under the skin. In the butter was Sal, parsley, lemon juice and zest and garlic. Drizzle outside with olive oil and salt n pepper. 500f 10 mind the drop temp to 350f cover breast legs and wings with bacon. Every 30mins spoon drippings over the bird and rotate until done. Move the turkey to rest on a different plate. Then add some flour to the drippings and make into gravey. While the turkey is cooking wait until about an hour left and make mashed potatoes and dressing. Invite friends and or family over and enjoy.

Happy late Thanksgiving to you all.
